Vaccine-ADD Brandmark
A visual identity exploring the intersection of science, protection and human impact. This brandmark was developed for Vaccine-ADD, a national research program advancing vaccine research.
-
As vaccine research continues to evolve, communicating the importance of scientific innovation and public health has never been more important. The NHMRC Centre for Research Excellence in Vaccine Adjuvant Discovery & Development (Vaccine-ADD) is a national research program working to advance vaccine development through adjuvant research.
-
Vaccine-ADD presented an opportunity to develop a brandmark for their national research program. The identity needed to communicate protection, scientific innovation and human impact, while creating a distinctive and recognisable mark for the organisation.
-
To bring these ideas together, I combined the forms of a shield, antibody and human figure into a single mark. The shield communicates protection and resilience, while the antibody references immune defence and scientific research. At the centre, the raised human figure represents people, progress and the positive impact of advancing vaccine research.
The resulting mark creates a visual connection between science, protection and community, giving Vaccine-ADD an identity that feels both authoritative and forward-looking.
